Many extended health plans provide coverage for counselling services. While I do not offer direct billing, once your payment has been processed through Jane App, you will automatically receive an insurance-ready receipt that includes my clinical supervisor's RCC registration number. This receipt can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Coverage varies between plans, so I recommend confirming your benefits with your insurance provider before your first appointment. If you experience any issues with reimbursement or your insurance provider requires additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to provide any supporting documentation that may assist with your claim.

I understand that life happens and sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do your best to let me know as soon as possible. Whenever possible, I ask for at least 12 hours' notice.
My goal is to be as flexible and understanding as possible. I understand that unexpected situations come up. If late cancellations or missed appointments become a recurring pattern, however, a cancellation fee may apply.
I'll always extend the same courtesy to you if I ever need to reschedule one of your appointments.
FAQs
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on what brings you to counselling and what you're hoping to get out of it. Some people come for support around a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term counselling. We'll regularly check in about your goals and what feels most helpful.
Will my insurance cover counselling?
Many extended health plans provide coverage for counselling, but every plan is different. I recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage before your first appointment.
Why are couples sessions priced differently?
Couples counselling involves supporting two people and the dynamics between them, which often requires additional preparation and a different approach than individual counselling.
